In order to compensate for the loss of bile through excretion, the liver produces bile salts with the help of cholesterol present in the blood. Since apricots contain soluble fibre, apart from digesting food, it will simultaneously work towards reducing your blood cholesterol levels to make more bile.

Secondly, different nutrients in apricots help in reducing risk factors like obesity, cholesterol and diabetes that are linked to heart disease.
7. Prevents anemia: Apricots contain a significant amount of non-heme iron, a type of iron that is absorbed very slowly by the body. This type of iron is especially helpful because it remain is the body for a longer period of time, allowing better absorption and preventing development of anemia.
